fashion

Document what you did in the session on Tuesday and Wednesday (Pictures, Diary entries, Printouts ETC) In our carousel this week we went to fashion, in our first session we created an ink printing onto fabric; we did this by mixing powder with water but unfortunately we couldn't use a lot of powder as it was expensive and couldn't mix it ourselves. We started by painting onto a piece of paper what we wanted onto our t-shirt design to be. I found it difficult to know what colours i was using as they changed colour as we heat pressed it onto the fabric.  in the next season we sewed onto our t-shirt designs to make a pattern and attached fabric to our designs. I found it hard to use the sewing machine as I have never used one before; I found it hard to sew a straight line or make a pattern. List under the following Research that you carry out in these sessions - We did primary research throughout by carrying out the work ourselves and we also did secondary research b

I chose to look at a scene from divergent, the scene is when four one of the main characters goes into a stimulation of his fears. in this scene I spotted many codes being used throughout the stimulation such as zoom, they use zoom in fours first stimulation the fear off heights; they zoom away from the characters to show the height of the bridge they are standing on this helps the audience feel what the characters are feeling. The scene also uses extreme close ups on the hands when they are wedging a metal bar between a door, medium shots are used to create impact on there body langue   and the facial expressions which is a visual code as well. The other shots the scene uses are planning shot and a tracking shot a planning shot is when the camera moves across the scene to give knowledge to the audience, this can be used to show location this happens in the 3rd stimulation to show the room and what's in there. tracking shots are used throughout to follow the characters. Evidence of me taking part:  (Pictures, Diary entries, Printouts ETC)  U1.1.2 2a Discuss any research that you carried out in these sessions:  U2.1.1, we didn't do much research as we have only done one day of the carousel in art and design and we just sketch and did monoprinting. Now list Primary and Secondary sources U2.2.1 Primary: Exerimenting; deciding which pen or  pencil  is best for the work we are creating.
